**This topic has a separate submission system for authors submitting ongoing trial abstracts for proposed posters that will describe the design and/or progress of ongoing trials – trials that will not have closed in time to present results at ESOC 2018. Ongoing trials will be accepted for poster presentation only.
Abstracts that describe ongoing trials that will complete in time to present results at ESOC and that are thus intended as placeholder abstracts for late-breaking results should be submitted to the main abstract submission site under the most relevant trial topic. There, you will find an option to indicate that it is a placeholder abstract.

* Young investigators (<35 years) are invited to submit an abstract describing a planned research study, an ongoing project still under development or interim results from an ongoing project for an ESO-Young Stroke Physicians and Researchers workshop.
The successful applicants will give an oral presentation, followed by constructive assessment of the study's design and advice on its future development by a senior, internationally-renowned investigator. In addition to providing expert guidance to develop your study, the workshop will also provide the opportunity to establish collaborations and promote your work to the wider community.
The presenter of the top scoring abstract will receive a place at the ESO Summer School in Berlin, Germany, Sept 11 - 15, 2018. All presenters will be interviewed by other Young Stroke Physicians and Researchers and the interviews will be featured on the ESO blog (https://eso-stroke.org/news/)
